The Gunners have reportedly agreed personal terms with midfielder Mikel Merino and now need to agree a transfer fee with Real Sociedad.
Merino has a £56m release clause in his contract, but Sociedad will have to sell for less as he is entering the final year of his contract. The Spanish side want to get £30m for the deal, but Noticias de Gipuzkoa say Arsenal are looking for a lower price.

Arsenal are targeting a £21m move for Merino, with the current valuation quite a gap.
