In fact, the management thinks that he would be a great match for Antonio Rudiger because they think that their skills will complement each other well.

In many ways, the story says, the pairing of Rudiger and Militao at the back is seen as just as dangerous as the pairing of Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe in the final third.

This week, Militao and Rudiger played together for the first time in Real Madrid’s UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta. Both players played very well that night.

In 90 minutes, Militao made three stops, blocked two shots, cleared the ball off the line once, cleared six balls, won four duels with the Italians, and completed 92% of his passes.

Rudiger, meanwhile, did great too, with three clearances, three stops, an interception, and three won duels.
