‘Private jet scheduled for Jadon Sancho to fly to Italy amid Juventus interest’ but Serie A side only want a loan move for the Manchester United winger
A private jet is reportedly arranged to transport Jadon Sancho from Manchester to Turin on Monday, as Juventus shows interest in the winger.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United is prepared to sell Sancho before the transfer window closes.
United manager Erik ten Hag believes the team has enough depth to cope with Sancho’s departure. Additionally, a permanent move for the 24-year-old would benefit the club’s financial and sustainability goals.
However, Sky Sports News reports that Juventus is only interested in a loan deal for Sancho.
Sancho, who is also attracting interest from Chelsea, did not feature in United’s first two Premier League matches of the season.
United believe that talks over a move for Sancho are more advanced with Juventus than Chelsea.
Sancho travelled with the United squad to Brighton but wasn’t even named on the bench for the 2-1 defeat.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after falling out with ten Hag.
Sancho appeared set to revive his United career as he featured for the Red Devils in pre-season having settled his differences with the manager.
Although he featured in the Community Shield against Manchester City (which included missing a penalty in the shootout), it appears that Sancho could leave United.
In total he has made 83 appearances for United and has scored 12 goals while he has provided six assists.
