Check out the muscular bodies of Real Madrid superstars

What can we see from Mbappe and Endrick’s Bernabeu debut?

After the draw with Mallorca in round 1 of La Liga, Real Madrid won big against Valladolid on the day when the two new signings Mbappe and Endrick had their first match at home.

In the 3-0 victory over Valladolid, the expected stars on the a𝔱𝔱ack line, specifically the trio Kylian Mbappe – Vinicius Jr – Rodrygo, did not score. Los Blancos’ goals were scored by Fede Valverde, Brahim Diaz and young talent Endrick.

Before the match, a series of Mbappe’s No. 9 shirts were bought by Real Madrid fans and packed the Bernabeu. In his first time playing at home, the French star played not badly but not excellently. Thus, after the first two official matches in La Liga, the former PSG striker has not been able to score.

Mbappe started the match against Valladolid in his familiar “number 9” position. He had many combinations with Valverde on the right wing and constantly looked for positions behind the opponent’s defense. With this way of playing, the 25-year-old star had some notable situations but could not score.

One of the problems when playing as a center forward was revealed to Mbappe. In many situations, he had to turn his back to the opponent’s goal to receive the ball. This is a weakness that made Mbappe flustered many times. In other times when running at high speed, it seemed that his teammates did not see the Los Blancos center forward moving.

Seeing that performance of his student, coach Carlo Ancelotti did not think it was a shortcoming. The Real Madrid captain believes that sooner or later Mbappe will have a debut goal in La Liga. With Carletto, Mbappe still has good running, guaranteed speed and is just lacking luck.

The player who replaced Mbappe in the final minutes of the second half was Endrick. Last week, the 18-year-old Brazilian striker was caught up in rumors that he might leave the Bernabeu to find a new destination on loan when he could not compete for a position. However, with only a few minutes on the field, the Selecao prodigy dispelled all doubts with a powerful right-footed shot into the near corner of the goal, sealing the 3-0 score in the 90+6 minute.

Endrick is very strong and willing to 𝔣ight one-on-one, that is the most obvious mark. Looking at this performance, Ancelotti can rest assured about a good backup plan for Mbappe in the context that Real Madrid has to play in many tournaments. Ancelotti also does not rule out the possibility of cutting Endrick to serve only secondary arenas such as Copa del Rey or Supercopa.

As for Endrick, when he decided to wear the white shirt of the Galaticos, he fully understood what challenges he would have to face to have the opportunity to play. This young striker has a very long journey ahead of him, along with countless opportunities to score points in the eyes of Ancelotti and the fans.

Before Endrick, Arda Guler was also involved in similar rumors when he could not compete for a position. However, Guler chose to stay and show himself, and was finally given more opportunities by Ancelotti.

This weekend in round 3, Real Madrid will visit Las Palmas. It is expected that the reigning European champions will continue to pocket 3 more points. This is also an opportunity for Mbappe to find his first goal in his career in the La Liga arena.
