NBA Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo Labels Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. as the Top Brazilian Player in the World

As the best Brazilian player in the world, Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. has been named by Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Brazilian winger was present at Wednesday’s (December 26) Milwaukee Bucks vs. Brooklyn Nets game. In just 30 minutes, Antetokounmpo had 32 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 blocks, and an 83.3% shooting percentage against the Nets.

 

 

Following the game, which saw the Bucks defeat the Nets 144–122, the basketball player gave Vinicius Jr. a signed jersey and some game-used shoes. Antetokounmpo also praised the Real Madrid player, calling him the finest Brazilian player in the world. According to Goal.com, he said:

Vinicius Jr. first met LeBron James, the star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, prior to meeting Giannis Antetokounmpo. The NBA’s social media account shared the video recordings of the two Nike players trading jerseys.

The football player also posted a number of images to Instagram in which he is seen trading shirts with LeBron James. His caption for the photo read:

“Child’s Dream!!! Idol!!!”

Vinicius Jr.’s injury sustained while serving abroad has kept him out of commission for the time being. He will not be able to play for ten weeks, but he should be back by the end of January.
