The UEFA president also responded, wiping Ronaldo’s name on the award with his hand.

On stage, Ronaldo said he always feels excited when he hears the Champions League music. When asked about his most memorable Champions League season, the 39-year-old striker mentioned the 2008 title with Man Utd, and his first title with Real Madrid in 2014. “Since then, the Champions League titles and goals have been pouring out like tomato sauce,” he said.
