UEFA honor Cristiano Ronaldo with a trophy for being the Champions League’s all-time top scorer 🏆

Ronaldo gets a special award

Ronaldo was in Monaco for the draw for the 2024–25 Champions League. The Portuguese superstar was given the “Top Scorer in Champions League history” award by UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin before the event.

The European Football Federation made this award to honor the star player who has set many tournament marks. To go along with his 140 goals, CR7 has the most assists (42), the most hat-tricks (8), the most goals in a season (17), and more.

The World Football Federation (FIFA) also set aside a special award in 2022 to celebrate Ronaldo’s great record of goals scored for his national team.

He was one of the players who had won the most Champions Leagues in history before the 2023–24 season. But Dani Cavarjal and Luka Modric scored more goals than CR7. These two just won their sixth European title by beating Dortmund in the final with “Los Blancos” in May.

“Thank you to Real Madrid, the team that helped me win 4 Champions Leagues.” The things Ronaldo said, “What I did with Real is amazing.”

Ronaldo said, “Of course” without thinking when asked if he wanted to go back to the Champions League. The song from the Champions League always gets me excited.

Ronaldo not only accepted the award, but he also took part in the draw event. In the new Champions League version, Real has a pretty easy schedule thanks to the superstar born in 1985. Dortmund, Liverpool, Milan, Atalanta, Salzburg, Lille, Stuttgart, and Brest are the teams that Coach Ancelotti’s team plays.
