Six Real Madrid players have been named for the Ballon d’Or. They are Bellingham, Mbappe, Vinicius, and others.

These are the nominees for the 2024 Ballon d’Or award. It’s not a surprise that Real Madrid is at the top of the list.

In fact, many Real Madrid players have been named for the prestigious award, which will be given for the first time by France Football and UEFA working together.

As expected, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. are up for the top individual football award and are among the favorites to win.

On the other hand, Federico Valverde and Toni Kroos, a legendary player for Real Madrid who retired this summer, are both on the list of the Top 30 candidates.

It’s not clear who will win, but Dani Carvajal is on the list because he had a great year with both Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, winning trophies with both.

The list also includes new signing Kylian Mbappe and Antonio Rudiger, who are both up for the Ballon d’Or award in 2024.

Mbappe had a good season with PSG in France, but they failed in Europe in the semi-finals, and France also only made it to the final four in the Euros.

They will be playing against top Manchester City players such as Rodri, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and Ruben Dias.

Veteran Granit Xhaka of Bayer Leverkusen has also been nominated for an award after a great season with the team.

The goalie for Aston Villa and Argentina, Emi Martinez, is also in the running. He won the Copa America with La Albiceleste and came in fourth in the Premier League.

Nico Williams, a winger for Athletic Club and Spain who won the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Euro 2024, is also up for the award.

Dani Olmo, who just signed with Barcelona, and Florian Wirtz, who is wanted by Real Madrid, are also on the list.
