Jude Bellingham astonishes locals with his plans for the international break while not on England duty

Watch: Jude Bellingham’s plans for his international break when he’s not on England service surprise people in his home country.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham is one of the few players on the team who hasn’t left for international duty yet because he hurt his foot and needs to heal. On Tuesday, Bellingham’s plans for his free time in Madrid caught everyone by surprise.

Because of his foot problem, Bellingham couldn’t play in England’s Nation’s League games against Ireland and Finland, so he didn’t make Lee Carsley’s first team. His face is often on 50-foot ads around Madrid, making him one of the most recognizable people in the city.

Still, on Tuesday, the 21-year-old was seen eating tapas with his parents on a terrace in the city’s famous La Latina neighborhood. After that, he went to the Egyptian monument Templo de Debod in the afternoon. This is where many people go to get a view of the palace and the city.

Bellingham was seen Christmas shopping with his mother on Gran Via, Madrid’s main street, last year. Most Real Madrid players hang out with their friends and family and don’t interact with city life very often. But Bellingham seems to enjoy the culture in Spain.

He should be able to play again by the end of September. The Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid on September 29 is thought to be his goal return date.
