Arda Güler delivers a fantastic assist in Turkey’s 3-1 victory against Iceland

In Turkey’s 3-1 win over Iceland, Arda Güler sets up a great goal.

It was clear that Güler was very skilled once more.

The Real Madrid player Arda Güler played all 90 minutes for Turkey against Iceland in the UEFA Nations League. He set up a beautiful goal that helped Turkey win 3-1.

It wasn’t clear if Güler would start or even play against Iceland after getting hurt on Friday against Wales. But it turned out he was healthy enough to play, as he started on the right side.

After a somewhat slow first half, Güler really came to life in the second. He was the main reason why Turkey had so many chances, including one that directly led to a goal. Overall, he did pretty well, as shown by the four key passes he made.

He was much more involved in the buildup this time, with 70 passes, 84 touches, six out of seven long balls completed, and a general willingness to drop deep and help with the buildup on several occasions.

Güler, who also made three dribbles, kept moving around with the other forwards. He played as a 10 because of this, and that’s where he was when he got his third assist in his last four international games. But Turkey controlled the game from start to finish, so there wasn’t much to praise about their defense.
