A picture of Luka Modrić as a child from 25 years ago comes to light.

The 10th of September 2024 – A retired dentist from Zadar found a picture of Croatian football star Luka Modrić riding a bike when he was young. The picture is from 25 years ago.

There has been a picture of a young boy riding his bike with a big backpack on his back for a while now, as Morski writes. Most people from Zadar will know where it is because it’s a popular spot for locals to get together. It’s Narodni trg in Zadar, and there’s a little girl posing for a picture in the center. Behind her are a few boys. It looks like the group of young men are listening to the person who is riding a bike and holding a big bag. Everyone in the world now knows that boy’s name: Luka Modrić.

 

Luka Modrić recently turned 39 years old, and to celebrate, he scored a great goal against Poland. Luka is only 14 years old in this picture.

Even though he’s not in the picture, he still draws your attention. It could be the bag he’s holding, which is way too big for him, or it could be something else. The fact that the other boys seem to be paying close attention could mean that Luka Modrić was just as interesting as he is now.

“I’ve always liked taking pictures of my kids. This is a picture of my daughter when she was four years old, in 1999.” There was an event in town, and young Luka was there. He brought it all to life by talking, and those other boys paid close attention. When Luka became famous around the world, the media only told part of his story: that as a child, he took care of goats. This was meant to show that he’s also from the city. I remembered having that picture, so I chose to let everyone see it. “By the way, I’m a retired dentist who used to work at the Zadar football stadium, so Luka came to see me to straighten his teeth at one point,” Dr. Nada Perković Kevrić said.

 

 

“They made him look like a shepherd boy. I wanted to show that where you come from doesn’t matter as much as how you act.” I remember him as a skilled artist and smart kid back then. Like they are in that shot, everyone would listen to him when he spoke. I aimed to show that who you are as a person is more important than where you come from. “He was a leader from a very young age,” Dr. Perković Kevrić said.
