Jude Bellingham officially launches YouTube channel following Ronaldo

Jude Bellingham has also joined the YouTube scene with a channel sharing insights about his life and behind-the-scenes moments at Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has just announced the launch of his personal YouTube channel, following in the footsteps of club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Jude Bellingham – Real Madrid star, has recently announced the launch of his personal YouTube channel, following in the footsteps of his senior Cristiano Ronaldo – who created a fever on this popular video platform just a few weeks ago.

Bellingham shared this information via a video posted on his Instagram account with more than 36.5 million followers. He said: “Hi everyone, this is Jude Bellingham. I heard that YouTube is a trend so I decided to launch my own channel.” The 21-year-old midfielder said that his channel will start broadcasting from September 12, with content focusing on his journey in his first year at Real Madrid.

Bellingham promises to share behind-the-scenes moments, “the ups and downs, the successes, the Champions League, the EURO and everything else” with fans. This is an opportunity for fans to get an insight into the life and career of one of the brightest young talents in world football today.

Bellingham’s decision comes as he recovers from an injury that has kept him out of Real Madrid’s recent games and has not been named in the England squad for FIFA Days in September. However, this has not stopped him from pursuing personal projects, including launching a YouTube channel.

The event comes just a day after Bellingham was named on the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d’Or – a testament to his rapid rise. The 2023/2024 season marks a quantum leap for Bellingham as he joins Real Madrid to win the La Liga and Champions League double. At the international level, the young midfielder has been instrumental in England reaching the final of EURO 2024.

The trend of footballers creating personal YouTube channels was started by Cristiano Ronaldo, who launched his channel just weeks before Bellingham. Ronaldo set an impressive record by reaching 1 million subscribers in just 90 minutes and now has around 57 million followers.

While it is unlikely to match that figure, Bellingham’s channel has also quickly attracted attention, with nearly 300,000 subscribers after only posting his first two videos.

For Bellingham, the new YouTube channel is not only a way for him to share his football career, but also an opportunity to connect more deeply with his fans. In the trailer for the documentary, titled ‘Out of the Floodlights’, viewers can see Bellingham’s memorable moments at Real Madrid, from his goals to his behind-the-scenes interactions with teammates and the club’s board.

The choice of YouTube as a platform for football stars to share content is not only trendy but also a smart strategy. The platform allows them to reach a huge global audience without having to go through traditional media channels.

At the same time, it is also an opportunity for players to build their personal brands and generate a significant income. According to the Daily Mail, the most subscribed YouTube channel – Mr Beast, is estimated to have earned more than £50 million last year.
