England to 2-0 Iceland: Harry Kane stole the show with a brace in the second half of his 100th appearance, but his supporting cast also gave some really good displays.

Under new temporary manager Lee Carsley, England continued their flawless start to the Nations League campaign at Wembley with a 2-0 victory over a resolute Finland.

Prior to kickoff, Harry Kane received a golden hat and scored twice in his 100th appearance for his country while sporting golden boots.

The England players’ ratings are shown here.

Jordan Pickford, 5: On an otherwise quiet night, Teemu Pukki nearly pickpocketed him in the early going after making an unnecessary touch.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, 8: Enjoyed playing a floating role as a right-back and made some excellent passes; his fading through-ball for Eberechi Eze a few minutes earlier or his pre-assist for Kane’s second goal were the two best of the bunch. It wasn’t the most demanding defensive night, but Alexander-Arnold’s incredible skill was on full display.
