After being sidelined due to injuries, two additional Manchester United players have returned to training just in time for their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace

On Wednesday, Erik ten Hag received a double boost with the return of two first-team stars to Manchester United training.

After last night’s 7-0 Carabao Cup quarterfinal victory over Barnsley at Old Trafford, the Red Devils were beaming at their Carrington training site.

Despite missing several key players due to injuries, United coach David Moyes fielded a strong starting lineup for the match against the League One club, despite the team’s rough start to the season.

With Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount participating in their latest training session, the Dutchman could soon have both players back in action.

Mount started the season strongly, featuring in both of United’s opening Premier League matches before a hamstring injury forced him off during the first half of the game against Brighton.

After his £60 million transfer from Chelsea, the 25-year-old managed only 20 appearances (including five Premier League starts) in his debut season, largely due to missing four months of action with a calf injury.
