Jadon Sancho launches Nike Collection influenced by South East London

Jadon Sancho has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in international football over the past few seasons.

The 20-year-old made his debut for England three years ago, earned a spot on the Bundesliga Team of the Season, and is now being sought after by some of the top clubs worldwide after his move from Manchester City to Borussia Dortmund. Despite his rapid rise to stardom, the London-born player has stayed true to his roots.

Sancho, in partnership with Nike Football, has launched his first line of footwear and apparel, inspired by his upbringing and the streets of South East London.

The “SE11 Sancho Collection” celebrates his connection to his hometown, which has played a significant role in shaping him into the player he is today.

Jadon stated, “This isn’t just for me; it’s for all the players in London who were told they would never succeed. I represent them every time I step onto the field. It’s a privilege and an honor to have the kids of London behind me and to launch a collection that they can all relate to.”

The boots feature cultural references, including “MEGZ,” inspired by the term “nutmeg,” which reflects Sancho’s skillful playing style.

There’s also a “NO BALL GAMES” sign on the side, referencing the prohibitive signs commonly found in many London estates.
