Carlo Ancelotti says that Ferland Mendy has stopped rumors about his future with Real Madrid by signing a new deal with the La Liga team.

There has been uncertainty about the France full-back’s future. During the summer, teams all over Europe were interested in signing him. Because he had played for other countries, he was a good choice on the market, especially since his contract with Real Madrid was up at the end of the current season.

But the rumors are no longer true. As always, Real Madrid wanted to keep Mendy on the team, and they were able to do so. His new contract is set to end in the summer of 2028. That’s what Ancelotti said when he announced the deal on Monday.

He then said nice things about Mendy and said that Real Madrid were “very happy” with him. Since coming to Real Madrid from Olympique Lyonnais in 2019, he has played in 176 games for the club.
