Al-Nassr’s narrow victory in the King’s Cup without their star player serves as a strong message from Cristiano Ronaldo to his teammates

In the King’s Cup, Al-Nassr secured a 2-1 victory against second-tier Al-Hazem. Sadio Mane scored just before halftime, and Nawaf Boushal added another goal later on. Coach Stefano Pioli made several changes to his lineup, resulting in Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from the match.

Before last Friday’s game against Al-Wehda and their AFC Champions League match with Al Rayyan, Pioli chose to give Ronaldo a rest.

Although Al-Nassr struggled without him, Ronaldo was pleased to see his team advance, even as he continues to wait for his first trophy in Saudi Arabia.

On Friday, Al-Nassr takes on Al-Wehda, and on Monday, they play Al Rayyan in the AFC Champions League. Ronaldo is probably going to be involved in both games.
