Jude Bellingham’s YouTube Documentary Represents the Future of Player Content

The YouTube Documentary by Jude Bellingham Is Player Content’s Future

2020 saw Birmingham City ridiculed for retiring Jude Bellingham’s No. 22 shirt after the 17-year-old left for Borussia Dortmund. Bellingham’s success in surpassing local rivals Aston Villa, however, will bring some happiness to Birmingham’s supporters.

While Jude Bellingham’s channel has only 11 videos and has only been posting content for around two weeks, it already has 683,000 subscribers, compared to Aston Villa’s 595,000.

More than eight Premier League clubs combined, that is.

Bellingham is releasing a documentary on his first season at Real Madrid through the channel.

“Out of the Floodlights” is structured similarly to other autobiographical films, like as the one that was just released on Netflix about David Beckham. It has Bellingham’s interview together with clips from games, award ceremonies, and home movies from his early years.

More than two million people have seen the first episode, in which he leaves Borussia Dortmund and practices interview questions while traveling with his brother Jobe.

A player’s career is often examined in documentaries after they have retired, rather than when they are just 21 years old.
