Trey Nyoni, a talented player for Liverpool, was not included in the Merseyside club’s U21 squad for their EFL Trophy match against Harrogate Town on Wednesday night. Nyoni is scheduled to play for the senior team this week.

Liverpool’s U21 team plays Harrogate Town on Tuesday night in the EFL Trophy group stage. However, Arne Slot’s team plays West Ham on Wednesday night in the EFL Cup, so the Dutch coach has to make a big decision.

Nyoni will not be playing tonight since the new Reds manager has decided to put him in his squad for their match against the Hammers. Nyoni is 17 years old.

David Lynch claims that because of the midfielder’s absence, he will likely play against the London team on Wednesday night at Anfield as Slot tries to get the young player some playing time after his impressive preseason play.
