Former World Cup winner Raphael Varane retired at 31  the football world. He joined Como from Manchester United.

Raphael Varane, 31, retired from football following a knee injury. After leaving Man United, Varane joined Como in Serie A this season. After a knee injury, the former World Cup winner retired from football.

He played one CoppA Itali match for Como and was substituted after 20 minutes.

Real Madrid was Varane’s most successful club, where he won 18 titles in 10 seasons, including three La Liga crowns and four Champions League titles.

The Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and 2018 World Cup with France were his victories.

He announced retirement on Instagram.
