Liverpool's 'warning' to Ryan Gravenberch as he grows into new No. 6 role - Liverpool FC - This Is Anfield

The Reds wanted to sign Martin Zubimendi, a midfielder from Real Sociedad, this summer, but the Spaniard turned down a move to Anfield at the last minute. This was a huge setback for the Reds’ transfer plans.

But midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has made defensive middle his own and has done a great job for the Merseyside club, going above and beyond what was expected.

Romario Romano, a journalist, says that Slot and Liverpool are very pleased with how the Dutch player has played so far this season.

Romano talked about how well Gravenberch has done on the Here We Go show and gave him praise.

“Zubimendi clearly turned down Liverpool in the summer, but the deal didn’t go through because the player wanted to stay at Real Madrid.” That situation is still quiet, but we’ll see what happens. Also, Liverpool and Arne Slot are very happy with Ryan Gravenberch; he’s doing great and is almost always named Man of the Match, which is great news for Liverpool.
