Winning the Ballon d’Or, Vinicius will receive a unique gift from the ‘giant’

Nike will release a special pair of Ballon d’Or boots for the Real Madrid superstar if he wins the award

According to a report from Footy Headlines (via @theMadridZone), the fashion giant Nike will release a special Ballon d’Or boot for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian is considered one of the top candidates for the Ballon d’Or award, which will take place on October 28, 2024 at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France.

 

 

 

According to recent information from Marca, Vinicius Jr already knows that he will win the 2024 Ballon d’Or. He will a number of strong competitors, including teammate Jude Bellingham, Manchester City’s Rodri and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez – who are also in the running.

The 24-year-old has been a key player for Los Blancos in the 2023/24 season. He helped the team win the La Liga, UEFA Champions League, and also won the Spanish Super Cup. In particular, Vinicius Jr. shone in the Champions League with 6 goals and 5 assists in 10 matches, including a goal in the final against Borussia Dortmund.

Vinicius Jr. was a real nightmare for defenders last season with his “wind” acceleration on the left wing. Not only is he fast, he also often cuts into the middle and shoots with his right foot to score. It feels great! I don’t know if I should play football or dance. Thank you Nike, thank you Cristiano for choosing me.”
