Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, former player John Aldridge gave his opinion on the Hungarian star.

Talking about Dominik Szoboszlai, former player John Aldridge commented:

“I had to laugh at Dominik Szoboszlai’s reaction when he was substituted against Wolves on Saturday, the Hungarian player shook his head and looked displeased.”

“Actually, Szoboszlai should be grateful to Arne Slot for taking him off, because this player has not been in the best form in the matches. Every player has games where they do not play well, and that was certainly a game that Szoboszlai had a hard time with.”

“I have heard some people say Szoboszlai thinks he is better than he is, but I think that is a bit unfair on the player. However, what is certainly true is that Szoboszlai can play better than what he is showing for Liverpool at the moment.”

“When he first arrived, Szoboszlai looked like one of the best players in the world, adapting to the Premier League almost immediately. However, in the last nine months or so, things have been much more difficult.”
