Emmanuel Petit, a former star of Chelsea and Arsenal, claims that three players from Manchester United’s current roster do not meet his average standards. Following a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Tottenham at home, United finds itself in 13th place in the Premier League, with just seven points and two wins from six matches.

As Erik ten Hag faces renewed scrutiny, talkSPORT reports that he will at least remain as manager for the next two games.

This poor start to the season comes despite the club spending around £180 million on new signings over the summer, yielding minimal results. Petit, a World Cup winner and legendary Arsenal player, asserts that only Andre Onana, Marcus Rashford, and Kobbie Mainoo deserve praise at United, referring to the team as a “mess.”
