This photo was taken on 12/05/2004 during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Real Madrid City (Valdebebas) training center. The project was inaugurated and put into operation on 30/09/2005. This is considered the largest sports complex in the world and is the pride of Madridistas.

The person chosen to lay the foundation stone with one of the greatest legends in Real Madrid’s history must certainly be someone who stands out among the many players who came from Real Madrid’s youth system.

Dani Carvajal has proven that after many years of being with the club, even accepting to spend a season studying abroad at Bayer Leverkusen to prove himself, but when he returned he immediately became an irreplaceable factor in his position, if not the best RB in Real Madrid history.

 

 

From the person chosen to lay the first stone to start the construction of the Valdebebas sports complex and to be with Real Madrid until 2026, his serious injury and the way the Board of Directors extended his contract at this time not only shows the great behavior of the club but also shows that he deserves it after all he has contributed to Real Madrid.
