Bellingham is a major hero to the youngster, and Noah Ohio, the midfielder’s former teammate, set up the call.
Ohio, who was traveling with the Netherlands Under-21 team to the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology in Utrecht, had previously played with Bellingham for the England Under-16 team.
Ohio is told in a video uploaded by Ons Oranje that Bellingham is the child’s favorite player.
Bellingham is then called by Ohio, and the midfield player can be seen taking a video call.
The two asked each other whether they were okay, and it was clear that the boy was happy to talk to Bellingham.
While Bellingham was on the video call, Ohio also made arrangements for the child to be photographed.
For the small child, the call was a wonderful experience that demonstrates Bellingham’s kindness.
Ohio, who presently plays for Utrecht, was raised in the Manchester United and Manchester City academies.
Bellingham will probably play when England travels to Finland on Sunday to complete their Nations League campaign.
