Croatian star Luka Modric has broken the international record previously held by his former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos

Kylian Mbappé made an extra stop on his way from Sweden back to Spain.

Few people are sure why Kylian Mbappé went to Sweden. Corse-Matin now says that he stopped at the French island of Corsica on his way back to Spain.

Croatian star Luka Modric surpassed the international record of his former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos, by participating in his country’s match against its guest, Scotland

Didier Deschamps didn’t put Mbappé in the current France team, even though he started Real Madrid’s last game before the break, against Villarreal. As a precaution and after talking with the player, both Deschamps and Philippe Diallo, head of the FFF, said again that they did not pick the captain of Les Bleus. When Mbappé hurt his thigh, he didn’t fully heal until just before the international break.

But his departure caused a lot of debate, even before he went to Stockholm, where France played Israel in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday. Local news sources say that while he was in the Swedish city, he went to a restaurant and then a nightclub. A report from Corse-Matin says that he stopped in Corsica on his way back to Madrid to continue getting ready for the return of club football.

He ate at a diner in Bastelicaccia while he was on the French island. So no one would see him, he came in through the kitchen, sat in a corner by himself, and left after all the other clients. After that, he stayed the night in Ajaccio and then took a jet back to Madrid.
