We had to wait 18 years… But in the end the result was happier. On Monday, October 14, the French team challenged Belgium in Brussels as part of the 4th day of the League of Nations. A that resulted in a hard-fought victory for Deschamps’, 2-1.

A happy victory for the Blues who played ten against eleven during the last quarter of an hour after the logical expulsion of their captain Aurélien Tchouaméni. The Real Madrid midfielder was guilty of a gross foul on Tielemans as the last defender (76′).
