Dominik Szoboszlai’s double resulted in a Hungarian victory in Bosnia

Hungary bҽat Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-0 and took a big step towards remaining in the elite of the League of Nations.

After the bravura draw against the Netherlands, the Hungarian national football team traveled to Bosnia-Herzegovina for a point or points in order to take an important step towards third place in the Nations League group and staying in the elite.

Naturally, Dominik Szoboszlai led the Hungarian team to the Zenica stadium as team captain, and RB Leipzig defender Willi Orbán was also in the starting line-up.

In the match, the dominant Hungarian team took the lead in the 38th minute: Zsolt Nagy teased Dominik Szoboszlai, and the Liverpool player rolled the ball past the goalkeeper from a forced position. This ended Szoboszlai’s eight-match scoreless streak in the national team.

Immediately after the turn, Hungary doubled its advantage: Zsolt Nagy, who also played excellently in the match, broke into the penalty area, where the Bosnian defenders could only stop him irregularly, and the penalty was taken by Szoboszlai and he sold it confidently.

This was Dominik’s 14th goal for the Hungarian national team and his second in this year’s Nations League.
