Klopp ‘lives like a fairy’ after leaving Liverpool, overwhelmed by £3.4 million villa
Jurgen Klopp is enjoying a peaceful, yet luxurious life after leaving Liverpool.
A dream life
After the 2023/2024 season ended, coach Jurgen Klopp said goodbye to Liverpool after 9 years of association. That period brought a lot of glory but was extremely hard for the German coach. Now, Jurgen Klopp is living a poetic life.
Instead of calculating to confront Pep Guardiola or Mikel Arteta, the German coach enjoys a comfortable life in Mallorca (Spain) on weekends. Jurgen Klopp spent £3.4 million to buy a beautiful villa with lots of trees and a swimming pool right in front of his house.
Revealing to the German newspaper Bild, the former Liverpool coach revealed that this is the life he has always dreamed of. “I have always dreamed of living in Southern Europe. I like the climate, weather and people there. I am very interested in the life and the people here.”
“Of course, I will not move here full-time. It is more like a resort, but I feel very comfortable. The peace makes me feel bored, but that is what I want. I want to relax, to live a different life from the usual stressful days,” Klopp added.
Currently, the German coach has just accepted a position as a strategic advisor for Red Bull Group with a salary of 10 million pounds/year to develop football at 3 clubs RB Liepzig, RB Salzburg and New York RB.
What is in Jurgen Klopp’s villa?
According to information from The Sun, coach Jurgen Klopp’s total assets are estimated at about 42 million pounds. Two years ago, he bought a villa in Mallorca for 3.4 million pounds. Immediately after owning it, Klopp renovated the villa into a “green” house to save maximum energy.
Mr. completely replaced the heating and air conditioning system, and connected the electrical equipment to the computer control system. Thanks to that, the house’s power consumption has been reduced by 25% compared to before.
In addition, Klopp also invested in hiring a design company to create and take care of the green garden around the villa. In his spare time, the German coach often plays paddle, a sport similar to tennis, to relax and enjoy his current life.
