Football star Marcus Rashford may be rekindling his romance with his ex-fiancée after reserving a luxury restaurant for a date last week.

The 26-year-old Manchester United and England striker ignited speculation that he has reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Lucia Loi, who is also 26.

Lucia Loi, 26, was still not wearing her engagement ring.

Marcus rented out the cellar of a French wine bar in Manchester that accommodates 18 guests.

The bar offers champagne bottles priced at £950 each.

A source shared: “They spent hours there laughing and joking.

“It’s a lovely venue, and he reserved the entire space just for the two of them.

“He couldn’t stop smiling.”

However, Lucia, who was seen with Marcus after their date, has yet to don her diamond engagement ring.

In June, The Sun reported that the couple had split while Marcus was on vacation in Miami two months earlier.

At Sale, Greater Manchester’s Ashton on Mersey School, the couple fell in love.

They broke up in May 2021 after nine years of dating, citing the pandemic and lockdown pressures.
