Real Madrid has taken Kylian Mbappé out of their advertising campaign after the French football star was accused of in Sweden.

Real Madrid shared a picture from their season on Tuesday. It shows the famous Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos and the English star midfielder Jude Bellingham, with an empty spot in the middle. Soon after, Bellingham shared an identical picture on Instagram, but this time Mbappé was in that empty spot. Soon after, Bellingham deleted the picture, but friends saw the change right away.

According to Romain Molina, a Spanish writer, Real Madrid held an meeting on Monday night to talk about the claims against Mbappe. The claimed event happened during Mbappe’s two-day trip to Sweden, where he went after being injured and unable to play for the France national team.

 

 

Mbappe went out with his roommate Nordi Mukiele and some other friends while he was in Stockholm. On Oct. 11, he took a private jet out of the Swedish city. Swedish news outlets say that there was a case of at the hotel where Mbappe stayed on October 10. The victim called the cops and more information about the case has come to light since then. According to Aftonbladet on Tuesday, the victim said that Mbappe was the one who did it. This led police to look into the hotel where Mbappe and his friends stayed.

Mbappe and his lawyers have strongly denied the claims, saying that the stories are not true. The player made a hint that his old team, Paris Saint-Germain, might be involved, since they are about to go to court over a legal disagreement with Mbappe.

PSG, on the other hand, laughed off these claims, saying that Mbappe “hasn’t helped Real Madrid but already caused trouble.”

Mbappe is back with Real Madrid, but he still has to answer questions from the Swedish government. The case has been covered in depth by both French and Spanish media, which emphasizes how important it is while police and prosecutors continue their investigation.

Dahlrot Cabouillet, a Swedish lawyer, talked about cases in Sweden and told the French newspaper Le Parisien, “If there is no evidence of the victim’s consent, either through words or gestures, or if the perpetrator was or high, it can be considered and Mbappe fears being found guilty.”
