A’spying’ issue surrounds Luis Diaz as the Liverpool star gets ready for a World Cup qualifying match.
There is an odd controversy involving Luis Diaz and Colombia. The Liverpool winger’s nation has accused its next opponent of “spying” as it prepares to play Bolivia.
Luis Diaz, a winger for Liverpool, has been so excellent since the Arne Slot period began that it has been nearly hard to ignore him. Bolivia, however, seems to want to see more behind the scenes before attempting to stop him later this week.
Colombia manager Nestor Lorenzo allegedly accused Bolivia of “spying” on one of the country’s training sessions, according to Gol Caracol. Even if players like Diaz and Jhon Duran, the forward for Aston Villa, are reasonably well-known, Colombia’s next opponent apparently sent someone to observe the practice.
It is stated that Diaz’s South American side is “furious” about the state of affairs. Naturally, Lorenzo was questioned about it at his pre-game press conference.
“It is unfortunate that they send you to spy and that I don’t know where he came from or who he was, but we identified him, we have photos, and we report the case there,” he continued. Naturally, one wants to train with the discretion that one is entitled to, and the team’s privacy was violated in this instance.
“We have taken pictures of every individual. We’ll see how things go during these hours. The conditions you listed are unique. Here in Cochabamba, we are ecstatic.
“They have been really welcoming to us. We appreciate everyone’s kindness and warmth, but some people will stop at nothing to achieve their goals or behave inappropriately.”
This season, Diaz has five goals in the Premier League. Although it took him until February of last year to accomplish that milestone, it appears that Slot’s style is a great fit for him.
