Vinicius replicated Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration by lifting his number 7 jersey in front of the Bernabeu crowd

Ronaldo’s iconic moment is recreated by Vinicius.

Vinicius dribbled from midfield to the outside of Dortmund’s penalty area in the 86th minute, then finished with a deft shot into the far corner to give Real Madrid a 4-2 lead.

In 2017, Ronaldo also raised his jersey in celebration after scoring against Barcelona at Camp Nou

The Brazilian striker celebrated by taking off his shirt after his elegant score. Federico Valverde ran over as well, but he remembered to grab his teammate’s shirt. Vinicius held up his No. 7 shirt in front of the Bernabeu stands to mimic Cristiano Ronaldo’s jubilation after getting his shirt back from Valverde.

When Ronaldo scored against Barcelona at Camp Nou in 2017, he also lifted his shirt in celebration.

Given that the 2000-born player has long admired his Portuguese senior, it makes sense that Vinicius mimicked Ronaldo. Vinicius also displayed Ronaldo’s photo on the wall of his home gym as a source of inspiration.

Despite falling behind 2-0 to Dortmund in the first half, Real Madrid pulled off an incredible comeback thanks to a hat-trick from Vinicius, who was playing at his best on that particular day.

Vinicius, meanwhile, recorded five assists and his eighth goal of the season in all competitions. “Real Madrid is my favorite. Following his outstanding performance, Vinicius declared, “I want to spend the rest of my career with this team.”

“Vinicius can win the Ballon d’Or,” Carlo Ancelotti, the coach, stated in the meantime. But his performance from the previous season was the reason for that. Vinicius can win the Ballon d’Or next year after his hat-trick today.
