Kroos doesn’t care about the chance to play with Mbappe

Sharing about his decision to retire, midfielder Toni Kroos confirmed that he knew Kylian Mbappe would join Real Madrid, but this did not affect him.

“My decision does not depend on any player joining or leaving” – the German midfielder recently shared on Marca, when asked about the possibility of returning to the field to play with Kylian Mbappe.

“It was my decision. I knew Mbappe was coming and I was very happy about it, he would help Real Madrid a lot. Mbappe could have joined the club 2 years ago, he is here now, but anyway, Mbappe did not affect my decision to retire”

Along with that, the former midfielder born in 1990 also expressed his satisfaction that the number 8 shirt has a new owner, midfielder Federico Valverde.
