Rodriguez revealed she had been in hospital for four days with pneumonia and told fans on social media that she was recovering at home. Ronaldo, who featured for Al Nassr in their previous two games last week, missed the draw with bottom-placed Al Kholood. Ronaldo missed Al Nassr’s game for personal reasons, but multiple sources said he was on leave to care for his girlfriend.

Sun Sports (UK) reported that Rodriguez was admitted to the Saudi German Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she is staying with Ronaldo. Georgina Rodriguez has been with Portuguese superstar Ronaldo since 2016 after they met at a Gucci retail store in Madrid. They have two children together, while Ronaldo has three other children from a previous relationship.

Rodriguez shared in a social media post: “Finally home! I was in hospital for four days with pneumonia, now I am better but still recovering at home with my family.

I have to send my sincere thanks to all the staff, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital… They took such good care of me and I am very grateful for that. Thank you everyone for giving me a wonderful holiday.”

When Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January 2023. It was reported that Ronaldo and Rodriguez were given permission by the Saudi authorities to live together. This is an exception to the rule that unmarried couples are not allowed to live together in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, speaking on the pilot season of Netflix’s hit reality show ‘I Am Georgina’, Rodriguez revealed how excited she was to learn that Ronaldo would be moving to the Middle East at the end of 2022.

“When Cristiano Ronaldo told me he was going to play for Al Nassr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester,” Rodriguez said. “I knew something big was waiting for us and we were very motivated. I was very happy to come to Saudi Arabia.”‘

However, life in Saudi Arabia has not been easy for the couple and their children. “Everything happened so fast,” Rodriguez said. “At first, I had a few ups and downs because we had never lived in a hotel for so long. There were days when I didn’t want anyone to see me, but overall, I was very excited.”
