The 21-year-old made his first-team breakthrough last season, making 33 appearances in all competitions, and has featured twice under head coach Arne Slot in the current campaign

Quansah stated on Liverpool’s official website: “I am extremely happy right now. The new manager’s coaching style has undoubtedly played a significant role in that, in my opinion.

“I believe that this is the greatest club in the world for me to grow as a player.

“I believe that the players in my immediate vicinity, with whom I want to collaborate and pay close attention, are the greatest in the position right now. As I mentioned earlier, I doubt that I could be in a better location.

Quansah, who entered Liverpool’s academy at the age of five and has since advanced through the ranks, is part of Gareth Southgate’s tentative England squad for Euro 2024.

In August 2023, he made his first-team debut against Newcastle as a substitute. He also played in Liverpool’s victory against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final the previous season.
