The Memphis Grizzlies have kicked off the NBA season with a 2-1 record after their first three games. After missing the playoffs last season due to injuries to several key players, the team is determined to make a comeback in the Western Conference postseason.
While the Grizzlies would have preferred to compete in the playoffs last year, their absence allowed them to secure a lottery pick, leading to the selection of Purdue center Zach Edey with the ninth overall pick.
Edey has started all three games of his NBA career, averaging 8.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game. However, foul trouble has been a concern for him, as he is averaging 4.7 fouls per game so far.
Reacting to his first NBA three, Edey shared a one-word message on his Instagram story.
