Toni Kroos: For me, Vinícius is the best player in the world

During the Ballon d’Or, Kroos posts photos with Vini Jr: “The best”

Recently retired German puts Brazilian back as the best in the world

Recently retired Toni Kroos made a point of giving his opinion on the election for the new Ballon d’Or, which should elect Rodri as the best player in the world this Monday (28). For the German, Vini Jr. is “the best”.

During the awards ceremony, the former Real Madrid player posted a photo with the Brazilian and a simple caption: “the best”. In a comment, Vini Jr. responded to the German saying that he loves him: “I love you, Antonio”.

In addition to the post, Toni Kroos, who came in 9th place among the best in the world, also commented on the new Ballon d’Or in an interview. For the German, the award has been “overrated” and that individual trophies “have no place” in football.

“Obviously it will be Rodri (the winner of the Ballon d’Or). I believe this award is overrated. I have never believed that this award is important. Honestly, I think that individual awards have no place in football,” he said in an interview with The Icon League.

Rodri should receive the award for the best in the world. The Spaniard won the Premier League and the Club World Cup with Manchester City, as well as winning the European Championship with Spain.
