Here’s our rating for each Man Utd player:

Andre Onana – 5

Will likely feel he could have done better to prevent Caicedo’s equalizer. Also nearly put Casemiro in a difficult spot with an early misplaced pass.

Noussair Mazraoui – 7

Outstanding at left-back and United’s top performer in the first half, maintaining his form after the break. Frequently joined the attack and showed solid technical skills. Made a crucial interception to stop Neto from breaking through and supported Garnacho whenever possible.

Matthijs de Ligt – 6

Notable early block to deny Palmer but had a late slip under pressure from Jackson that almost led to trouble.

Lisandro Martinez – 6

Diogo Dalot – 6

Poor tackle on Pedro Neto earned a deserved booking and had a real battle with his international team-mate.

Casemiro – 7

Manuel Ugarte – 6

Rugby tackle on Palmer but Uruguayan showed signs he is starting to settle in after big money summer move.

Alejandro Garnacho – 5
