Rodrygo returns to the Real Madrid team for practice, but his performance against Milan is “questionable.”
The Brazilian attacker finished some of the group’s training on Sunday.
Following his recovery from the hamstring injury he sustained during the most recent Champions League encounter against Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes participated in part of Sunday’s training session with the rest of the team. His current status for Tuesday’s pivotal match against Milan might be considered “questionable,” and the medical staff will keep an eye on his improvement during Monday’s training session.
Given that his starting lineup got a week off, coach Carlo Ancelotti is probably going to be careful when Rodrygo returns. Rodrygo will only be included in the squad list and play a few minutes if he is genuinely 100% prepared to return without taking any chances, so Ancelotti doesn’t need to make rotations.
It would be intriguing to hear Ancelotti’s thoughts on Rodrygo’s availability as he is expected to discuss the striker’s physical condition during Monday’s pregame press conference.
