Fede Valverde’s wife, Mina Bonino, deletes a post criticizing Carlo Ancelotti out of concern for being ‘arrested’—but the Real Madrid manager still responds firmly

Mina Bonino was frustrated after her husband, Fede Valverde, was substituted at halftime during Real Madrid’s 3-1 Champions League loss to AC Milan.

Valverde had been positioned on the right in a four-man midfield—a tactical choice by Carlo Ancelotti that also bothered Bonino, prompting her to vent on social media. Ancelotti faces multiple issues this season, having suffered consecutive losses.

Kylian Mbappe is underperforming as a No.9, Jude Bellingham isn’t as effective, and the defense has conceded nine goals in three games, leading Ancelotti to admit his growing concern.

Bonino’s criticism added fuel to the fire as fans and media intensified their scrutiny. She posted on X: “I need to close this (X) down; it’s safer because I’ll be arrested.”

When someone suggested Valverde’s substitution might have been tactical, Bonino responded: “Fede plays best as a pivot. What are you talking about? Hahaha, when will they finally understand that Fede is not a winger?” Ancelotti later explained in his press conference that Valverde was substituted due to a back injury.
