Real Madrid is becoming more uneasy because star players Endrick and Arda Guler aren’t getting enough playing time.
The adults at Real Madrid, including president Florentino Perez, don’t like how teenagers Endrick and Arda Guler don’t get to play much.
WHAT CAME ABOUT?
According to Relevo journalist Javier Rodríguez Pascual, Real Madrid’s board members are angry at manager Carlo Ancelotti because young stars Endrick and Arda Guler aren’t getting enough playing time. This includes president Florentino Perez.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Real Madrid hasn’t had the best start to the current season, especially since they won both LaLiga and the Champions League at the end of the previous season.
As a center forward, Kylian Mbappe has not been very good. He was meant to be the last piece in the puzzle that would make this team the best in the world in the next five to ten years.
Plus, the club’s midfielders haven’t been able to fill the hole left by Toni Kroos’s retirement. It seems like players like Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde, and Aurelien Tchouameni are not the same players they were in 2023–24.
DID YOU KNOW?
It’s that Endrick and Guler have only played one minute together in the last four games across all categories. It’s hard to understand why Ancelotti hasn’t played either of the kids when Mbappe has trouble scoring goals and midfielders aren’t very creative. The two have done a great job in the few minutes they’ve had this season, making a mark most of the time.
