Nikola Jokic guides the Nuggets to a 135-122 victory over the Heat with a record-breaking triple-double

Nikola Jokic continued his dominant play with a 30-point, 14-assist, and 11-rebound performance, leading the Denver Nuggets to a 135-122 win over the Miami Heat.

This marked his third consecutive triple-double and his fifth of the season, setting an NBA best. Jokic’s exceptional scoring and playmaking showcased his MVP-level form, as he helped the Nuggets extend their recent strong run, winning six of their last seven games after starting the season 0-2.

Jamal Murray also had a strong outing, scoring 28 points in his return from concussion protocol, and made history as the first player in Nuggets franchise history to hit 1,000 career three-pointers.

Denver took control early, jumping to a 17-6 lead within the first 4:10 of the game and shooting 14-of-20 in the first quarter to score 40 points.

Despite a late push from the Heat, who cut the lead to seven in the final five minutes, the Nuggets’ strong performances in the second and third quarters secured the victory.

Notably, Denver outscored Miami 15-4 in the first 3:03 of the third quarter, extending their 11-point halftime lead to 86-64.
