After two years of being in a UEFA Youth League match between Celtic and Real Madrid, Los Blancos Marc Cucalon has had to terminate his promising football career at 19 years old.

Over two years after being injured in a match between Celtic and Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League match, Los Blancos ρɾospect Marc Cucalon has been forced to prematurely end his promising career as a footballer at the age of just 19 years old

After rupturing his ACL versus Celtic, the adolescent midfielder contracted a rare from a microbe that entered his joint cartilage during surgery.

Due to his poor prognosis and medical advice, Cucalon has decided to retire and focus on recovery.

Cucalon, known as La Fabrica’s Xabi Alonso, was one of Junior A coach Alvaro Arbeloa’s brightest prospects. The club veteran made the kid his U-19 captain in 2022-23.

The injury should have kept him off the pitch for six to nine months, but a bacteria he contracted during surgery weakened his joint.
