Jude and his younger brother Jobe Bellingham shared a touching reunion as they enjoyed a brief moment together upon reporting for England duty.
The Bellingham brothers don’t often get the chance to spend time together during the season, with Jobe shining for Championship leaders Sunderland and Jude establishing himself as one of the world’s best at Real Madrid.
However, the two were able to reconnect after reporting for England duty at St George’s Park on Monday. Jude flew in from Madrid to join Lee Carsley’s first-team squad for the upcoming Nations League matches against Greece and Ireland, while Jobe received his first call-up to the England Under-21 squad.
Jobe’s impressive start to the season at Sunderland, where he scored two goals and started all but one match in their rise to the top of the Championship, has earned him recognition. He continues to follow in his older brother’s footsteps through England’s youth ranks and was given a unique experience of mixing with senior players by reuniting with Jude upon arrival at the national training base.
The brothers shared smiles and an embrace, enjoying this rare moment together with dreams of one day playing alongside each other at a major tournament.
Meanwhile, Jobe aims to make a strong impression on England’s selectors as he contends for playing time in the Young Lions’ upcoming matches against Spain and the Netherlands.
