At his peak, Cristiano Ronaldo was the game’s biggest superstar and had expensive habits. Even his birthday parties at Real Madrid were international.

The Portuguese went all out to celebrate his 30th birthday in 2015. The gathering featured Colombian reggaeton musician Kevin Roldan. His celebration, which included the squad and the affluent and famous of Madrid, took place after the derby loss to Atletico Madrid 4-0.

On RadioMarca, Roldan detailed the event.

In 2015, when Ronaldo was turning 30, he was determined to go all out to mark the occasion. That included bringing in Colombian reggaeton singer Kevin Roldan to the party. Inviting the rich and famous of Madrid society, as well as the rest of the squad

I remember it well. My father called me in New York to tell me we had a Madrid private party in two weeks. I told him it was impossible because we had a gig in Mexico that day.”

He replied that Cristiano Ronaldo requested it. Private gatherings always cost more, but he paid. I don’t enjoy talking about money, but those shows made me $250,000 at the time.”

Ronaldo and others of the team partying that night and the number seven singing with Roldan reportedly separated Real Madrid. Gerard Pique memorably hailed Roldan in the celebrations, saying, ‘With you, everything started’ as Barcelona won a triple in La Liga.
