The great Egyptian football player is still trying to win the one trophy that he is missing from a great career.

Egypt and Ghana played to a 2-2 draw on Thursday at the Africa Cup of Nations. In the 45th minute, Mohamed Salah was taken off the field. He was taken off because of what was thought to be a hamstring injury. This could be bad news for the star forward and his country’s chances at the event.

In spite of all the great things the Egyptian has done, there has been a lot of talk about what is missing.

The Liverpool star is one of the best players in the world, and he has had a great time on Merseyside since joining from Roma in 2017. He has won every award there is to win with the Reds. He has also won individual awards, including back-to-back CAF Player of the Year awards in 2018 and 2019. With 153 goals, he is the top African scorer in the history of English football.

The one thing that is missing, though, is an international prize with Egypt.

Since Egypt’s poor 2-2 draws with Mozambique and Ghana in their first two 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) games, there are again doubts about Salah’s ability to lead the team to African glory.
