Adidas and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) have unveiled a limited-edition jersey to mark the 50th anniversary of their partnership, which began in 1974. The new kit will debut on November 20 in a match against Peru.
This collaboration, with only a few brief interruptions, has endured for five decades, encompassing significant moments in Argentina’s football history, including two of the team’s three World Cup triumphs.
The jersey features a retro design, drawing inspiration from Argentina’s 1974 kit, with the iconic blue and white vertical stripes.
Adding a touch of nostalgia, the chest showcases the classic trefoil logo and the AFA crest from the mid-1970s, both printed in gold to celebrate the team’s illustrious achievements over the years.
