Cody Gakpo, a forward for Liverpool, has been named the Carabao Cup Player of the Round.

In last month’s fourth-round match at Brighton & Hove Albion, Gakpo delivered two outstanding goals to help the Reds win 3-2 and continue their trophy defense.

The Dutchman later won his award at the AXA Training Center after being chosen as the round four star.

On December 18, Arne Slot’s team will play Southampton in the competition’s quarterfinal at St. Mary’s.
